Herman Nauta is a commercial artist, who works for magazines and books. He made two weekly comics for Hervormd Nederland between 1977 and 1996. The first strip one was 'Maarten Leuter' (1977-1983) and the second one 'Sien' (1983-1996). Nauta also makes caricatures and is specialized in digital drawings. His football caricatures were collected in the book 'Lijnenspel' by De Buitenspelers in 2009.
