Scott Neely has been working as a designer and illustrator since the 1990s. He does layouts and designs, storyboarding, conceptual design, and sequential storytelling, using several techniques. He was an editorial cartoonist for The Suburban and Wayne Times between 1996 and 2003.
He has worked extensively on licensed properties, most notably on 'Scooby Doo' products, including the DC Comics comic book series. He has also drawn for many book publications and products related to Cartoon Network series, such as 'Dexter's Laboratory', 'Cow and Chicken', 'Johnny Bravo', 'The Grim Adventures of Billy And Mandy', 'Powerpuff Girls', 'Ed, Edd n Eddy' and 'I.M. Weasel'. Among the other series he has produced artwork for are 'Pokemon', 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse', 'My Friends Tigger & Pooh', 'Handy Manny', 'Power Rangers Jungle Fury', 'Strawberry Shortcake', 'Bratz', 'Weebles', 'Shrek', 'The Li'l Learners Club'. He has drawn several 'Phineas and Ferb' comic stories for Disney Publishing, written by Scott Peterson.
Neely is also the visual creator and production designer of the TV and stage shows of Hollywood Hal & Rhinestone Al with the Wannabees. He works as a commercial artist, and teaches a Drawing for Animation class at the Delaware College of Art and Design.
