Missions Kimono, by Francis Nicole

Francis Nicole started out working as an architect, and additonally published his first comic pages in Air Fan, Tintin, Hello BD and Le Télégramme de Brest. He is the artist of 'Missions "Kimono"', a series scripted by Jean-Yves Brouard. The series was published in Tintin from 1988, and eventually appeared in albums at JYB adventures, Brouard's own publishing house. Nicole also makes model planes, and he was the general secretary of the French IPMS (the French plastic modelling society). He is a member of the ARDHAN, a association that is devoted to the study and history of naval aeronautics. He is an illustrator of several of the organization's publications, as well as a cover artist of the aviation magazine Le Fanatique de l'Aviation.
