Branislav Obradović was born in Titograd, then lived in Kragujevac, and now resides in Valjevo. He published his earliest works while still a high school student. He studied at the Belgrade Faculty of Philosophy, and by 1969, he was providing artwork to such publications as Student, Stradija, Fakk and Svetlost. Upon graduation, he was employed as a teacher in history and geography in a village near Valjevo. During this period, he sent his work to Jež, NIN, Pavliha from Ljubljana and Osten from Skopje. He was also the cartoonist for the business section of the local paper Napred. His first comic strip 'Nemirko' was published in Svetlost in 1970. He has won several international competitions with his work.

Branislav Obradović died in 2002, at age 53 or 54.
