Jorge Oliver Medina, who signs with Oli, is a Cuban cartoonist, illustrator, journalist and lecturer from Havana. He is scriptwriter and artist for Zunzún magazine and the creator of the children's comic 'El Capitán Plín' and the strip 'Donpó'. By 2003, he was drawing the 'Tamal' feature for Pionero. He has published several storybooks and children's plays and is a producer of animated cartoons starring his 'Capitán Plin' character.
