Nestor Olivera is an Argentinian comic artist specialized in war stories. He began his career drawing for Figuritas at the age of 22. He then joined Hora Cero magazine of Editorial Frontera, where he worked with scriptwriter Hector Germán Oesterheld, among others on comics about the Vietnam war (1957). He later joined Editorial Columba, drawing series like 'Brigada Madeleine', 'Fort Apache', 'Hilario Corvalán' and 'Aquí, La Legión'. He also worked for publishers like Fleetway in Britain and Eura Editoriale in Italy. In 1970 he worked with Oesterheld again on 'Artemio, El Taxista de Buenos Aires'.
