Pascal Oost worked as an editor and scriptwriter for Donald Duck weekly in the 1980s and 1990s. He became freelancer after the birth of his daughter and since then he has worked as a freelance scriptwriter and translator for among others Donald Duck and Bobo. He created the title comic for Banjer (1996-1998) with Maarten Janssens and 'Obilobi' with Quincy Renon for Taptoe. He has also done several commission comics with his partner Wilma van den Bosch. He sometimes does a contribution to the Utrecht art magazine De Inktpot, for which he created 'Harold Hops', doing both script and art. In 2018 he succeeded Robbert Damen as the regular scriptwriter for the comics published in Wild van Freek, a magazine around Dutch biologist Freek Vonk by Blink Uitgevers. The artwork is done by Sander de Fouw. Oost has also written Disney comics for the Scandinavian publishing house Egmont, as well as comic stories related to Rovio's 'Angry Birds' game franchise.
