Jostein Øvrelid was the artist of the Norwegian science fiction comic 'Ingeniør Knut Berg på eventyr'. The series, strongly inspired by Alex Raymond's 'Flash Gordon', was published in the Nynorsk Vekeblad from 1941 on, with text by Hallvard Sandnes. Øvrelid and Sandnes used the pseudonyms Ronald Stone and Vigleik Vikli to create this series. The 'Knut Berg' series ran until 1960. Øvrelid died in 1983 at age 72.
