Nora Paakkanen was born in Kuopio, Finland in 1968. She studied graphic design in Rome in 1989-1991. After graduating, she became an illustrator and comic artist. She founded Scurius Cartoons, promoting her own comics, and created the newspaper strip 'Ted Dally'.
