Roberto El Carca, by Antonio Pamies
'Roberto El Carca'.

Antonio Pamies was born in Czechoslovakia in 1956, then he moved to France, then to Spain. His early work appeared in Spanish underground publications of the 1970s such as El Rrollo Enmascarado, Catalina, Purita, Picadura Selecta and El Sidecar. Then Pamies stopped doing comics for a while until he joined El Víbora in 1980. He was a habitual collaborator during the first years of this magazine.

In addition to some short stories, Pamies contributed the following serials: 'Perfidia Moruna' (1980), 'A la Sombra de la Cruz' (1982), 'Esniffada en Bolinvia' (1983) and 'Tras el Telón de Acero' (1984). All the serials featured 'Roberto el Carca'. This character was a corrosive parody of Eduardo Vañó's 'Roberto Alcázar'.
