Daniele Panebarco worked as an illustrator and comic artist from 1976 to 1992. He drew his first strip, 'Off-Side', while still at school. His most famous creation is the private investigator 'Big Sleeping', that appeared among others in Mago magazine. Among his other creations are 'Nick Martello', a satire on communism, and 'Piccolo Lenin', a fantasy "biography" of Lenin. His work has been published in Linus, Orient Express and Citta Futura. Panebarco canceled his comic activities in 1992 to focus on his multimedia projects.
