David Parcerisa i Ungé is a Catalan comic book artist, illustrator, and animator. He is specialized in storyboards, character design, background art and illustrations for encyclopedias and history books. He also made commercial work, such as posters, business cards, advertisements, etc, for clients like bars, athenaeums and political organizations.

Educated at the Escuela Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra during the 1970s, he published his first comics work in the fanzine La Escupidera. By the second half of the 1980s, he published comic stories in magazines like El Drall ('La Trepa'), Totem El Comix, El Víbora ('Una Pereja'), Humor a Tope, La Nació, Diari del Taxi, Sólo para Locos, Nexus, Dissidència, Cap de Trons, 16 Sense Semen. and the newspaper Avui. Parcerisa started working in animation in the same period, in the 1990s mostly for Cartoons Now/Estudio Càmara.

He continued to make comics throughout the 1990s, and created characters and series like 'Cuentos Subterráneos' for Humor a Tope, 'Marc Taló' for El Triangle and 'Libertad' for El Víbora. For Studio Comicon in Barcelona, he cooperated on the production of four comic albums promoting the game 'Technomage' by Sunflowers and Carlsen Comics (1999-2001). He also made drawings for licensed properties like 'Tarzan' and 'Disney Princesses'.
