Lucio Parrillo started his professional career in 1990, when he worked for newspaper Il Cavatore and comic magazine Color. He also made illustrations for magazine Città, and in 1994 he produced several comics and covers for Big Publisher. He became involved with publishing house Zero Press, for which he created numerous stories and posters. His fantastic style soon gained him more popularity, and he did much more work on covers, among others for magazines Lanciostory, Skorpio and Lennox Comics.
Parrillo's fame soon spread outside Italy, and he also worked for French and American publishers. He penciled the comics 'Vampire Girls', 'Coven 2' and 'Eternal Temptation'. He also did the artwork on the series 'L' Empire Eternel', written by Dominique Latil and published by Soleil. Apart from comics and many many covers, Parrillo also illustrated role games and video games
