Adi Parva
Amruta Patil is a writer, painter and one of the few (female) graphic novelists in India. Her first book was 'Kari', a colorful book about love, full of self-awareness and poetry. The book was published by HarperCollins in 2008. She released 'Churning of the Ocean', her next graphic novel and the first of her 'Adi Parva' series, through the same publisher in 2012. In this series, she gives a new interpretation of mythology. She also had an illustrated column called 'Book of Hours' in National Geographic Traveller India in 2015.
