El Nino

Boro Pavlović got his degree in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Ljubljana in 1979. He began working as a decorator in the Croatian National Theater in Split until 1991. In addition, he drew the comic series 'Les Chroniques du Chevalier Tarwe' and 'Roxalane' for the French publisher Les Humanoïdes Associés.

Pavlović settled in Oslo in 1992, where he began working for the North-European department of the publishing house Semic. He made several covers for comics like 'Agent X-9', 'Modesty Blaise', 'James Bond', 'Herman Storm' and 'The Phantom'. He also illustrated 'Kjempene Faller', an adventure of 'Pelle et Proffen', two famous characters from Norwegian children's literature. Between 2002 and 2009, he worked with writer Christian Perrissin on the series 'El Nino' for Les Humanoïdes Associés. Pavlović and Perrissin continued their collaboration at Glénat with 'Les Munroe' in 2010.
