Born in South Korea, Christelle Pécout studied stylism in Paris and Fine Arts in Angoulême. She worked in the internet business for a while before turning to illustrations and comics. She made the series 'Lune d'Ombre' with Sylvianne Corgiat for Les Humanoïdes Associés.
Then she turned to more personal projects, such as a graphic novel about the life of Annemarie Schwarzenbach. She was contacted by Virginie Greiner and Lucien Rollin to illustrate 'Hypathie', that appears in the Dupuis collection Sorcières.
