Josep Farriol Vidal was one of the new artists who participated in El Rrollo Enmascarado, Nasti de Plasti and other pioneering Spanish underground comix in the 1970s, which made way for El Víbora and other magazines from the end of the decade. Josep Farriol disappeared from the comic scene in the 1980s but he made a sporadic comeback in El Víbora halfway through the decade. He also worked together with his brother Miquel, and their collective oeuvre was signed Farry Brothers.
