'Tommy Gun & Marion Lee'.
Piet De Rycker, who signs with Pjotr, studied at the Sint-Lukas School of Arts in Brussels. He is best known for his work in the animation field, but he has also done comics. He began doing small strips in TV-Express together with his college friends Kamagurka and Erik Meynen. After winning the first prize at the Brussels Filmfestival with the short movie 'The Old Storyteller', Pjotr settled as an independent illustrator, comic artist and animator. He appeared in magazines like Flair and Robbedoes.
'Tommy Gun & Marion Lee'.
Together with Erik Meynen, he created such comic series as 'Tommy Gun & Marion Lee' and 'De Terugkeer van Roxanne'. As an animator, he cooperated together with Johan De Moor as a storyboard artist on the 'Quick & Flupke' animated TV series, based on Hergé's gag comic series. In 1988, Pjotr founded the Stupid Studio, that focused on advertising work. Since the 1990s he works mainly as an animator.
'Pietje'. The kids wonder what Juliette is saying and look up the word "Au secours!" ('Help!'). Bert is unable to find it, while Pietje informs him that "she stopped yelling too."
