Tarzan

Daniel Palant, married and father of two children, was born in Israel and is living in Tel Aviv. As a child he had a great talent for painting and later also discovered his writing talent. This combination brought him to the field of comics and at the age of 19, in the 1960s, he began to publish his stories in a children's magazine called Haaretz Shelanoo (Our Country).

In this magazine Dany wrote and drew dozens of comics stories and illustrated many series, including 'Princess Celina and Knight Tristan', 'Gold Hunters', 'Virgilius the Donkey' and 'Tarzan'. Four years later he had to leave the magazine for economic reasons and become a graphic artist. In this new profession Dany produce hundreds of graphics in various fields. All handwork and done without the help of a computer.

Dany also wrote three juvenile books, two of which were decorated with his own illustrations. The last one ('The Vampire's Horror') was published in 2013. In the later years of his career, Dany formed the ElAl company where he worked as a graphic designer and director of the printing house. Dany Palant is now retired, but still continues to write and create.
