Breakthrough, by Boguslaw Polch

Boguslaw Polch started drawing comics when he was seventeen years old. He attended art college, where he met Grzegorz Rosinski. He made his debut in comics in 1958, when his stories 'Wyprawa via kosmos' and 'Sloneczny rejs Przygody' were published in magazine Korespondent Wszedobylski. He created the series 'Captain Lux' in 1970, for magazine Sport & Turystyka. Between 1978 and 1982 he published in Germany the series 'Die Götter aus dem All', after the books by Erich von Däniken. Eight albums have appeared, and were translated in twelve languages. Boguslaw Polch created 'Funky Koval' in 1982, and it is still considered one of the best Polish comics. Another title by Polch is 'Wiedzmin'. In 1990, he conributed to the book 'Breakthrough', a collection of comics about the falling of the Berlin wall.
