Cyril Pontet cancelled his studies in psychology to start a career in comics. He took over 'Les Chroniques de la Lune Noire' from Ledroit, with scripts by François Froideval, in the mid-1990s. Eventually, he began series of his own, such as 'Succubus' (at Glénat, scripts by Froideval) and 'Maledictis' (at Clair de Lune, scripts by Eric Stoffel).
