Rambold
Askanio Popović graduated in painting from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade. His first comic strip 'Armon sa zvezda' was published in Yu strip in 1979. It was followed by 'Mogli, dečak iz džungle' (Kekec, 1980), 'Maja' (Praktična žena, 1979-1981.), 'Vremeplovac' (Yu strip, 1981) and 'Rambold' (Naš strip, 1984). In 1984 and 1985 he drew the licenced 'Tom & Jerry' comic strip for the Vjesnik newspaper from Zagreb.
