Harry Privette was the artist of the newspaper strip 'MiniBoppers' during the 1960s. His strip 'Igor' was distributed by Boston Features between 1985 and 1987. Also known as Martin Hanna, he was a talented cartoonist and prominent advertising executive. He retired from the New England Mutual Life Insurance Company, where he was in charge of advertising, and later became the self-appointed cartoonist of The Insurance Forum. In 2002, the Kingston Press nominated him for a Pulitzer Prize. Harry Privette died in Kingston, North Carolina, on 21 June 2005.
