Marimo Ragawa has been active as mangaka since the age of 12. As a young teenager, she entered talent-search contests run by manga publishers. Her first job was with the publishing house Hakkusensha, and among her first published works is 'Time Limit'.
In 1998, she published her 700-page melodrama 'N.Y.N.Y.', about a New York cop and his younger boyfriend. Other serials include 'Aka-chan to Boku' ('Baby and Me') and 'Itsudemo Otenki Kibun', as well as the tennis manga 'Shanimuni-Go', published in Hana-to-Yume.
