Fann le Lion
Renée Rahir studied at the École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc in Liège, together with her twin sister Jeanine. Between 1985 and 1989, the two sisters created numerous short stories for the magazine Tintin and its Dutch equivalent, Kuifje. In addition, Renée created her own series, 'Fann le Lion', which was also published in Tintin, and in albums by Casterman. In 1991, Renée and Jeanine Rahir began the series 'Barry Lan' together at Glénat. Renée Rahir also writes and draws for the publishing houses Averbode and Hemma, among other for the 'Pop-Up Noël' series by Carlos Busquet. She has written articles for Signatures and the Swiss magazine Week BD.
