A couple of months later, Reculé teamed up with Jean-Luc Sala to create 'Le Grand Veneur', winning a contest held by the Lombard magazine Jet. Reculé and Sala then produced a longer story entitled 'La Légende de Kynan', published in Hello Bédé and in book format in 1993. For the same magazine, Reculé created the medieval saga 'Castel Armer'  (1993-1997).
