Arne van der Ree is an illustrator and concept advisor, born in Oud-Beijerland. He attended the Graphic Designers School in Rotterdam. He made his first illustration assignments in his final year for Sluis Petfoods. He then studied Illustration Design at the Willem de Kooning Academy in Rotterdam. Van der Ree now works as an illustrator through his own studio Doodle.nl, and is a parttime art tutor at the Grafisch Lyceum Rotterdam. Among his clients are Algemeen Dagblad, Esquire and Playboy, Tempo Team, Hallmark Cards, NCRV and Unilever. He draws the editorial comic strip 'Report-Jort' in Kidsweek and Sevendays, and makes illustrations for children's magazine Vogels Junior. Through the Artbox agency, Van der Ree also works for the Dutch ministry and Ahold.
