Brahm Revel was born and raised in San Francisco. At age 17, he headed for New York, where he attended the Cooper Union. His first professional comic book work was the comic adaptation of Larry Fessenden's movie 'Wendigo'. He then began his solo project about a group of specially trained chimpanzees during the Vietnam War, called 'Guerillas', for Image Comics (2008). Revel has done illustration work for Supreme Skateboards, Broke-in Magazine, and other independent filmmakers.
