Adam Revson is an American cartoonist from South Florida, and a regular contributor to the automotive humor publication CARtoons Magazine since its relaunch in 2015. He is most notable for his comic feature 'Mike Biscayne'.
Life and career
Adam Revson was born in New York City and grew up fascinated by automotive magazines like Hot Rod, Car Craft and Motor Trend, which he saw at his local bookstore. He had his first job while still in 5th grade at Petersen Publishing, where he assisted Dennis Ellefson, the editor of CARtoons Magazine. He studied Architectural Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but later found himself behind the wheels of various race cars, creating how-to content for Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords.

In 2015, Revson returned to CARtoons Magazine, when it was revived by the artist Marc Methot after a 24 year hiatus. The first new issue appeared in January 2016, and the magazine has continued as a bi-monthly title. Revson was one of the new contributors of hot-rod humor, together with Jeff Slemons, while veterans like George Trosley and Fred Boatman also returned to the magazine's pages. Revson's recurring feature 'Mike Biscayne' is a mix of photographs and cartoon art. The cartoonist has also contributed regularly to various newspapers, automotive publications, and trade journals, such as Road & Track, New Times, LA Weekly, Variety, Knight Ridder and Hearst Newspapers, Florida Legal Journal, CMU, and his student newspaper The Daily Tartan.
In 2018, a compendium was published by Lulu.com under the title 'CARtoons by Revson: The First Three Years', containing his CARtunes how-to and technical articles, Paper Racer model cut-outs, and episodes of his comics 'Mike Biscayne' and 'Sir Ron D. Rond'.
