Patrick Rohat made his debut in 1971-1972 in the Zinograph, a magazine that lasted for only four issues. Afterwards, he did work for numerous small magazines, making one-pagers, cartoons, etc. In 1976 he graduated for his studies in architecture. At the same time, Rohat was asked to do some work for the popular Spirou magazine. However, Spirou started refusing his work more and more. So, Rohat turned to Pistil magazine in Paris, where he started his series 'Papillon Labrasse'. Unfortunately, he died at a very young age in 1979.
