Carlos Romeu was born in Barcelona as the son of a French mother and a Catalan father. He began his career in 1971, drawing for Nueva Dimensión. Subsequently, he has contributed to magazines like Fotogramas, Bocaccio, Por Favor, Charlie Mensuel, Triunfo, Invterviú, Playboy, Matarratos, El Jueves and National Show. He has worked as a scriptwriter and occasional actor for television (TV3, TVE 1). He was a regular contributor to El País since 1976, and also works for Muy Interesante and Comunidad Escolar. He was the creator of comic series like 'Los Hijos Sin Padre' and 'Historias de Miguelito'.
