Emmanuel Roudier got his degree in Applied Arts in 1992. He started his career working as an independent artist, doing mainly work for the juvenile press, roleplaying games and illustrations with historical and fantastic themes. Fascinated by archaeology, Roudier created his series about the neanderthal 'Vo'Hounâ' in 1997.
