Gaspard et le phylactère magique
Mickaël Roux is a French comic artist from Chinon, a commune in the Indre-et-Loire department of France. A self-taught artist, he draws his inspiration from filmmakers like Tim Burton, Tarantino, Rodriguez and Peter Jackson. In 2005-2006, he contributed to a collective book by L'Egouttoir, and published his solo children's comics 'Piraterie'and 'Jour de pluie' with Editions Carabas. He remained associated with Carabas and created 'Beurk' with Loïc Dauvillier in 2006, and the fantasy series 'Les Passeurs' with Martin Vidberg in 2007-2008.
Jeu de Gamins
With Edition Mine de Rien, he made the one shot comic 'Minimum le Pirate' in 2009. 'Gaspard et le phylactère magique' was a fairytale guide of comic art, that Roux made with scriptwriter Alain Dary for Emmanuel Proust Editions in 2012. Since 2012, he also makes the children's series 'Jeu de gamins' for Bamboo.
