Miao
Luigi Roveri was an Italian illustrator, comic artist and comic talent scout. He had been illustrating posters since the 1940's, and later turned to books illustrations for publishers like Rino Fabbri, Cerretti and Sigurd Sandvik (in Norway).
By the 1950's he was managing the weekly pulp magazine with detective stories Detective, published by Ugo Dal Buono's Editrice Pegasus. His best known comic book work is the creation of the title character of Miao magazine in the 1970's.
