Golgo 13
Takao Saito published his first comic, 'Kuki Danshaku', at age nineteen. In 1960, he founded his own art studios, Saito Productions. This studio employed about 20 people and produced approximately 600 comic pages a month, varying from science fiction stories, samurai comics ('Muyônosuké', 'Kaguégari') and adaptations of 'James Bond'. Saito's most famous personal series, 'Golgo 13', is about a hit-man without any feelings. In production since October 1968, 'Golgo 13' is the longest-running manga series to this day.
