Eric Salla was born in Kimpese, Congo in 1974. He graduated as a philosopher and critic of arts at the Catholic University of Kinshasa in 2001. Since 1989, he has participated in numerous comic salons and festivals. His work has appeared in several publications, such as BleuBlanc, Lokole and 'A L'Ombre du Baobab', a collection of comics by African artists about education and health in Africa, for which he drew the story 'Le Mur du Silence'.
