Come la Vita, by Laura Scarpa

Laura Scarpa was born in Venice. She made her debut in Linus magazine in 1978. Her first album was 'Moll Flanders', a comic written by Antonio Tettamanti and Venturina Veneziana. She contributed to the reviews Alter and Orient Express, and did illustration work for children's publications. In Corriere dei Piccoli and Snoopy, she did series like 'Sara dai Cappelli Blue' and 'Sabato in Jeans'. For the magazine Ragazza In, she created the character 'Martina'. In 1993, she founded the Struwwelpeter group with the writer Giorgio Pellizzari. She contributed to Il Corrierino, Terre di Mezzo, Blue and Mondo Naif. With Carlos Trillo, she made 'Come la Vita', a story about two teenagers, which was published in Italy, France, Germany and Holland. She is a teacher at the School of Comics in Milan.
