'Andi'.
Born in Düsselforf, Peter Schaaff works as an comic artist, cartoonist and animator. He started his career with self-publishing the 'Tote Helden Comix', a post-atomic punk anthem influenced by the movie 'Mad Max 2' and the artist's time as a punk and squatter. In 2005, together with autor Peter Liehr, he did the short story 'Green' for Mirage's 'Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles'.
His most popular work is 'Andi - Tage wie dieser' for the home office Nordrhein-Westfalen in Germany, an educational comic book "that wants to encourage youngsters to have the strength to oppose far-right extremism in their everyday lives". This first book is followed in 2007 by a second issue dealing with islamic extremism called 'Murats Weg'. Schaaff's 'Dämonika - die Braut des Bösen' is a fantasy series for Weissblech Comics. He also contributes work to the German edition of Mad Magazine.
