He was born in 1951 as Pieter Ewoud Schreuders in Rotterdam and started out as a comic author under several pseudonyms in the first half of the 1970s. For Aloha, he also made the comics 'De Boys met Max', 'De Avonturen van Frits Strik' and 'Jan Tit' (with Aart Clerkx). Schreuders and Clerkx were also largely responsible for the design of Hitweek and Aloha, and for the weekly back page of De Nieuwe Linie newspaper ('Jan Tit's Progressief Journaal').
