Coolman und Ich

Heribert Schulmeyer is a German children's book illustrator and comic artist. He studied Graphics and Illustration at the Kölner Werkschule, where he learned the profession from illustrators and designers like Heinz Edelman and Daniel Spoerri. He published his first comics in German underground magazines like Zomix and Rad ab! in the 1980s. Unlike the other artists in those magazines, his work, generally fables, was characterized by its conservative panel arrangements and clean image structures.
