Born in Osaka, Leeza Sei began her career as an assistant on the manga serial 'Clamp'. She became the main artist on this series, and her scripts are based on short stories by Nanase Ohkawa. In 1992, he began her own 'Combination' series. Later on, she began another series, called 'Phantom Cognition', which she makes under the male pseudonym Takeo Iba for Princess Comics.
