Cousteau comic, by Dominique Serafini

Dominique Sérafini has spent his life driven by his two passions - the sea and art. He cooperated with fellow artist Gaty and scriptwriter René Deynis on 'Les Espadons' in Le Journal de Mickey in the 1970s. For the Éditions Pressinter, he made 'La Pêche Sous-Marine' and 'La Planche à Voile' in 1980. As a member of Jacques Cousteau's team, he made a series of 17 comic books for children entitled 'L'Aventure de l'Equipe Cousteau en Bandes Dessinées' between 1985 and 1997. Carrying a strong ecological theme, this collection was inspired by Cousteau's expeditions on the Calypso and has been translated into many different languages.
