Glomchomp, by P. Shaw

P. Shaw began scribbling into cheap lined memo books in 1986 for a goof. He started self-publishing the handmade chap book 'St.Ink' in 1989 and edited six issues (now out of print) which all featured a snappy silkscreened cover. He has participated in the Max Fish Cartoonist show on Ludlow Street in NYC every year since 1990 and appeared in four of their calendars.

Shaw took part in the Comic Power show in 1993 at Exit Art. He created the strip 'Smudgy and Scribbly' for a few years in Nickelodeon magazine beginning in 1996. His name appeared in the comic pages of Vice magazine for most of 2000. Recent work can be found in 'Legal Action Comics', 'Non #5', 'Smudges', and in the SPX anthology from 2000 and 2001. So far, 104 cheap lined memo books have been filled with sketches.
