Tom Shephard worked mainly in advertising, but he was also the artist of the newspaper comic 'Hystoria with J.P.'. Written by Bob Cohn, the strip ran from 1966 to 1970 and gave a comical view on history, literature, art and religion. J.P. is a classy man with sunglasses who is apparently able to time travel. He asks many historical characters questions, to which they provide funny punchlines.
Cohn was executive vice president at Marcus Advertising until 1983, when he retired. Shephard also worked in advertising. On 7 October 2013, Bob Cohn passed away.
