Bob Singer is an artist in the animation industry, who has worked on a great many Hanna-Barbera series. Born in 1928 in Santa Barbara, California, he studied at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles until 1955. Singer worked for companies like Marvel, U.P.A. Pictures, Shamus Culhane's studio and Warner Bros.. The majority of his career was spent at Hanna-Barbera, where he worked for 27 years. He animated on series like 'The Flintstones', 'Jonny Quest', 'Scooby-Doo', 'Yogi Bear', 'The Jetsons', 'The Smurfs', 'Super Friends', 'Richie Rich' and 'The Harlem Globetrotters'. Singer was founder of Hanna-Barbera's character design department, and served as head of the lay-out department and art director of publicity.

Singer was also one of the pencil artists for 'The Flintstones' and 'Yogi Bear' newspaper comics in the 1960s. He was active as an illustrator for coloring books, children's books and greeting cards in the late 1980s, and returned to Hanna-Barbera in 1990 as a storyboard director and animation cel art designer.
