Bliksembezoek (from: Zone 5300)
André Slob, who signs much of his work with simply "É", was trained as an art teacher at the ZWN in Delft and as a graphic designer at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rotterdam. He worked as a web designer for five years, before turning to the drawing pen. He makes illustrations for magazines like Humo, Ode and the Canadian Budhist magazines Shambhala Sun and The Buddhadharma Quarterly. He has had short comic stories published in Humo and Zone 5300, including 'Onder de brandende zon' with Wouter Eizenga. Slob has spent long periods abroad; he has lived in India, Spain, Norway and Angola.
