Salesman Sam, by Charles Small

Charles D. Small was a magazine cartoonist who took over the Newspaper Enterprise Association feature 'Salesman Sam' when the strip's creator, George Swanson, moved over to King Features in 1927. He continued to draw the strip until his death in 1936.
