John Sprengelmeyer is the artist on the comic strip 'Captain RibMan', an American comic hero parody written by Rich Davis. The strip made its debut in The Kansas City Star in 1997, and was syndicated by Tribune Media Services to college newspapers in 2000. It bacame a success, and has spun off into an advice column and a proposed television show.
