Münchhausen-Bravader by Knut Stangenberg

Knut Stangenberg studied in Uppsala in the late 1800s. He quit his studies in favor of drawing. He was employed by the magazine Allt for Alla, for which he created the family comic 'Fridolf Celinders liv och leverne' under the pen name Stang in 1912. 'Fridolf Celinder' was also one of the first Swedish comics with a recurring character. The strip moved to Vårt Hem magazine in 1932. For this magazine, Stang also made 'Münchhausen-Bravader' a full-page weekly comic based on the classic German tales in 1933.

One of Knut Stangenberg's political cartoons, 1924
