Lee W. Stanley was an American cartoonist, who was active from 1906 until about 1964. He is best-known for his hillbilly cartoon series 'The Old Home Town', that was syndicated by King Features from 1923 until 1944. His wife Harriet assisted on the strip. Stanley was also active as a newspaper cartoonist and children's book illustrator (a.o. by Alice Crew Gall).
